There are two ways to join the MAZI CPO Collective: through a referral or through a direct application. We love it when people in the industry introduce us to other superstar People Leaders!

who can apply to join?

The MAZI CPO Collective is open to Chief People Officers (CPOs), VP People, VC/PE People or Talent Leaders, and People Consultants with previous CPO experience.

We maintain a balance of ~85% CPO/VP People, ~10% VC/PE People or Talent Leaders, and ~5% People Consultants.

HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?

1. Apply Online: Fill out our application email with details about your experience and why you’d like to join.
2. Review: Our team will review your application and follow up if needed.
3. Onboarding: If it makes sense for you to join, we’ll send you all the materials to get started.

Can I join the MAZI CPO Lab or CPO 100 directly?

No, all members must first join the main MAZI CPO Collective to experience the ethos, get involved in activities, and connect with others. From there, you can apply or be nominated for the Lab or 100, depending on your experience and career stage.

who can refer a member?

Who you might be:
1. A CPO in our Collective recommending a peer
2. An outgoing CPO introducing your successor
3. A People Leader suggesting someone you know in the industry
4. A VC referring a CPO/ VP People / top level HR Leader from one of your portfolio companies

HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?

1. Submit a Referral: Complete the below questions with your details and the CPO/ VP People / top level HR Leader you’re referring.
2. Intro Call: We’ll schedule a brief call with the CPO/ VP People / top level HR Leader to get to know them.
3. Review: Our team will review the referral.
4. Onboarding: If accepted, the CPO/ VP People / top level HR Leader will receive onboarding materials and join the CPO Collective.
